If you have ever come in contact with Jade, you know that she is nothing less than one of the sweetest people you will ever meet!

The first time Jade and I ever got to shoot together was for the Queen Ravenna shoot. Hope you guys remember that shoot (Because it was AMAZING)..

So when Jade reached out to me to take her graduation pics for school, I was beyond excited, because not only is she a stunning model, she is also now an RN!

She has worked beyond hard for this, and it has now paid off!!

When I sat down and asked Jade, "If you could say anything about this journey, or give any advice, what would you say?" 

​She said, "It was super hard, physically and mentally and I had no life, but in the end its all worth it"

As a photographer, I aspire to be nothing but better than I was yesterday! Many days I have ideas run through my head of things that I would love to photograph. Those same ideas are sometimes hard to bring to life. This particular session was no different...two beautiful sister models, a hundred ideas and yet none seemed to be possible to plan in only the one day that we had. That was until Elyssa said, "We could be deer". That one word had me beyond excited, and within the following hours this session happened!!!!

FOR SOME TIME NOW, THIS GUY AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO MAKE SOME TIME TO SHOOT...AND WE FINALLY GOT THE CHANCE TO!

THIS SHOOT WAS A BLAST. NO RULES, NO LIMITS, JUST TAKING THE CAMERA OUT WITH A FRIEND AND SHOOTING!!

After many days of "Texas" flooding, I was finally able to get out in some sunlight with this beauty! I've been taking pics of her for quite some time now, and EVERYTIME she amazes me! I had such a wonderful time hanging out with her during this session, chatting and catching up! Thanks for always making every shoot as amazing as you are!!

TALK ABOUT BEING BLESSED...A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS JUST STARTING PHOTOGRAPHY, I WOULD ALWAYS LOOK AT OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS WORK AND HOPE TO ONE DAY BECOME AS TALENTED AS SOME OF THE OTHERS. ONE OF THE FIRST PHOTOGRAPHERS WORK THAT CAUGHT MY EYE WAS BENE'S. FROM THE DREAMY BLUR, TO THE VIBRANT, CONTRAST COLORS, I LOVED IT ALL. FROM THEN ON I FOLLOWED HER WORK,  AND WATCHED HER SHOOT AT WEDDINGS I ATTENDED, BUT WHO WOULD HAVE EVER THOUGHT THAT WE WOULD BECOME GREAT FRIENDS.

TAKING PHOTOS FOR ANOTHER PHOTOGRAPHER CAN BE FUN, BUT SCARY. "FUN" BECAUSE YOU KNOW YOU'LL HAVE A GREAT TIME CHATTING ABOUT CAMERAS, LENSES, ISO, SHUTTER SPEEDS, AND ALL THAT OTHER PHOTOGRAPHY STUFF. YET, ITS "SCARY" BECAUSE EACH PHOTOGRAPHER IS DIFFERENT AND HOPING YOUR "STANDARD" MEETS THEIR "STANDARD". 

I WAS ABSOLUTELY HONORED TO BE ABLE TO SHOOT THIS SESSION FOR HER BIRTHDAY!!

So....yes, this is the beautiful Courtney!

From the first time I ever photographed her, I was pretty much amazed! She can basically transform to anything you have in mind!

On this particular day we let our dark sides come together and collaborate! 

Couldn't have asked for a better day! The temperature was perfect as well as the overcast!
